From the Dobbs Training Center
Teaching "Whoa" is made easier for you and your dog. Using techniques developed at the Dobbs Training Center, you will learn how to teach a "Whoa" command that you can depend on.
This video presents dogs with a variety of temperaments and at different stages of learning to give you a complete picture of the training process. It is so full of information that you can watch it over and over again and learn something new each time. The video features the use of an electronic collar, but also shows you the teaching phases without collar use. The video includes teaching a pup the meaning of "Whoa" and "All Right"; preventing the dog from sitting or lying down when given a "Whoa" command; steadying the dog to birds and gunfire; eliminating "creeping"; and stopping to flush and gunfire.
